Was very disappointed with the service and the manager when I went here to take my mother for her 79th birthday and they told us there was a private party coming so would only be able to stay for an hour on a bar stool. Manager was not apologetic in the least, and we had been told 20 minutes prior to that, that it would be open at 12 noon by the waitress so we waited for about 40 minutes only to be told this information, never going again, very rude people, and not accommodating in the least
Things were fine until I looked at the bill. One small cup of salsa wasn’t enough for the nacho plate so I asked for another. My wife asked for horseradish with her beef dip. We were charged $2 for the extra salsa and $2 for the horseradish. If you see ask to take it off or you won’t leave a tip.
I was there last night for a show and was very thrilled when the atmosphere as well as the friendly service, the amazing food and the tasty drinks. The moment we entered the vibe of the bar felt so welcoming like a first time second home. I’d definitely come back the next time I’m in Burlington.
