I placed an order through the app and when I arrived at the store to pick up my order. I could tell it was busy and the front of the store was under staffed. How do I know? Only one poor girl was working the entire front of the store. So I don?t blame her too much since she was put in a bind. But what happened is still unacceptable. I went to check on a bag of food that was placed on the to go table and the girl working just starts saying excuse me, excuse me, while giving me a look as if shouldn?t have checked the name the bag. The girl behind the counter never greeted us and was eating ice cream while wearing AirPods. The kids cooking the food all had long hair with no hairnets or hats. One of them came out of the kitchen, holding up his pants because they had fallen down, still wearing gloves, and made his own drink at the customer drink station before going back inside. The girl brought our food to the table with a bad attitude. I said thank you politely, but she ignored me and walked away. Even the food was disappointing!
Great burgers! I had a classic double cheeseburger along with Smashfries and an Angry Orchard beer. The fries were delicious, seasoned with rosemary and paired nicely with some mustard. The beer was served cold in a glass and tasted refreshing. I really liked the atmosphere of the place; when I visited, it was quite busy and there was a line to place orders (the sign at the register indicated that it can get crowded, which is something to keep in mind). Overall, I highly recommend Smashburger!
I visited a Smashburger in Medford, MA for the first time today, and I had an excellent experience. The customer service was outstanding; the manager, Lana, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring my order was perfect. The food was fantastic—the burger was delicious, the fries were cooked just right, and the presentation was impressive. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I will definitely be returning to Smashburger. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

I tried the single Smashburger with fries on my first visit, and the next day I went for the cheesy caramelized onion crispy chicken sandwich. The burger was tasty, but I’d suggest opting for the double or triple for more flavor. The cheesy caramelized onion chicken sandwich paired with truffle tater tots was incredible—I enjoyed it so much, I didn’t even say a word to my coworker until I finished! Absolutely devoured it!
The food was good, but not outstanding. I tried the spicy chicken wings, but they didn't have much kick to them. I love spicy food, so while others might find them spicy, I wouldn't get your hopes up if you enjoy heat. The flavor was nice, but again, not exceptional. I also had the ribs, which I did enjoy, but they weren't anything to write home about. Overall, the food was decent, but it was pricier than it was worth.
Long wait time? We waited 20-25 minutes for a burger, even though the restaurant was not busy. Their menu is heavily focused on chicken dishes, which was surprising. We had to look up the burger options on our phones because they were hard to find, which is odd given that the restaurant is called Smashburger, not Smashchickentender.
