Firstly, I want to give a massive thank you to the staff at Smiths for being so patient as we both had intolerances that we had to take into consideration when ordering food. I unfortunately didn't get names of the staff but there were two in particular that were very friendly and understanding. The one blonde lady went out of her way to make a list of each item we couldn't have (I couldn't have gluten, there was also a dairy intolerance) to ease the decision of ordering food. I have never experienced such fantastic service in a restaurant!! The food was to die for, so incredibly tasty and fresh! Some of the best burgers out there. We’re local and this is our go to local spot for a celebration meal. These days £15 is the norm for a very average pub burger and fries. You’ll pay a bit more here (about £19 for a burger and side of fries) but the quality is absolutely worth it. And you’ll be full. You’ll not go wrong with their classic burger but I had the chicken burger and it was superb. My wife is vegetarian and loved the handmade veggie burger. Friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere too.
Quite posh for a burger place, not sure it suits. I had the triple B burger but I didn’t enjoy the blueberry bbq sauce it was too tangy! My husband loved his classic burger though and the loaded tater tots were yummy.
