I recently went to Smitty?s for my dinner and I really had a taste for some fried chicken and not kfc or Popeyes. So I decided to go to Smittys. I waited 30 minutes for my food, which wasn't a big deal because I knew it would be so good. I was disappointed when I opened my box. At first they had no hot sauce. That wasn't a big deal because I thought the taste would be so good, I wouldn't need a sauce. Secondly, the chicken looked like it had been immersed 3 or 4 times in a dough, with which I would roast a soft bowl crab. I missed it because I was hoping that it didn't mean it wouldn't be delicious. The chicken was terrible. It tastes like it was cooked 2 days ago and then roasted in the same fat last weekend. The Pommes were just as bad. I didn't even finish my meal. The best thing about my whole meal was the Sprit and the Ketchup. I thought about ordering a burger, because they are usually on the point, but at this point I had an evil taste in my mouth, literally. I went to Wendy? Smitty's better. You're really upset.
Best fast lunch ever! Nostalgic too?????? Old-fashioned Drive In with curb service. Look at the Twirly-Dog! It's okay with Tater-Tots! I hear the fried chicken? is great; come back to find out! They said they'd call forward, take 20 minutes to cook. Just a minute from Mercury Blvd to N King St???????? One of the best burgers around!! YUM!!! Too bad they no longer have the window food tablets or roller shoes......last from the past!
Depending on what you get the food is pretty good. Use my parents to eat the day the owner was there. Lower prices are great, the chicken sandwich needs a lot of improvement, but the burgers and frits are the best. And the chicken wings are a little big, but delicious. The lady is always very nice when they take your order and you don't have to wait long.
It was our first time here. Really affordable compared to quality and other restaurants nearby. Our car server Stephanie was super nice and really informative. She helped us navigate the menu well. The food was amazing and quickly came out. Everyone enjoyed it and all my children finished their meals.
