Most enjoyable dinner with impeccable service and unique dishes. Every dish (bar one which I will come to later was beautifully presented and expertly executed. There was a lot of Japanese influence which we enjoyed and yet the treatment was unexpected and delightful. This was the 4th Michelin-starred restaurant on our trip: two 3* in San Sebastián and a 2* in Oxford. TBH the food in two of them was a little disappointing in that the dishes were very predictable. Smoked Room was a breath of fresh air. The only dish I did not enjoy was ironically the sea cucumber that I was looking forward to trying. The food, decor and the atmosphere were perfect. There is nothing to argue or criticize. clearly its a meal worth remembering, everything from the brioche to the ice cream, no complaints. Nevertheless, I do want to congratulate the people. Everyone that took care of us was amazing. Every detail taken care of, from the great waiters to chefs and specially the summelier. She had so many small details letting us sample wonderful old reds and great Sherries. Thanks for a great dinner! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
