Did not know about this place and loved our first visit. Many different things on the menu, with many articles recipes from the owner or his mother. I had the beef short rib Stroganoff, delicious and plenty of meat and delicious sauce. My son had a steak, said it was perfectly cooked and tasted great. Many refreshing drinks offered or you can order something from the bar, great selection. Cabin as indoor, many tables, beautifully decorated. A friendly place to eat, not imagination, only wonderful food and efficient staff to serve you. You checked us at least twice to see if we need anything. Clean area and bathroom. The bar is mostly on the left side with side tables and quieter tables to the right to serve a few or many people. Look at this place!
I can't say enough great things about Smokey Oaks Tavern. From food to drinks and staff to property, every visit here was a really fantastic experience! It took a while to finally make our first visit to SOT after driving through so many times, but it will always be a go-to-spot in our essrotation. Everything is quite expensive, they have an amazing selection of beer, wine and spirits as well as some of the best food in the city. Some of my favorites are an old fashion paired with their smoked buffalo wings and Brussels sprouts... or a nitro line with a bbq ribbed plate and grilled artichoke.... Your food and drinks are absolutely to die.
Came for dinner for Valentines and had a 20-minute wait or something. The tables are nicely spread, which does not block people in such a small room. They were probably busy and we had waited a bit for service, but was efficient. Crispy brussel sprouts were very good although they had used more sauce. Tri-Tipp sandwich was amazing! Soft French bread, tasteful tri-tip and just enough tangy BBQ sauce. Dirty dead were okay, I think I was just too full to give them an honest review. Decor was not much to write at home, but it was a solid experience.
