Smoky Quartz Distillery

I made a quick stop out of curiosity and walked out with a bottle if the V5 bourbon. The customer service is personable and knowledgeable. As for the bourbon, I like it quite well. The first word that comes to mind when I taste it is honest it 's just a good old fashioned honest whiskey flavor. Not overwrought but still with some nice complexity. To keep it brief, expect to taste sweet corn, smoke, and fresh cut wood. This will go great next to a camp fire with some roasted food. This won 't be the last bottle I buy at SQD

Owner Kevin was outstanding during the tour and spirit tasting we had this afternoon. Detailing the story behind the Veteran owned distillery was fascinating and informative. We also had a chance to sample vodka, two rums and a sensational bourbon. Had to take some of that small batch bourbon home. Can't wait to visit again and bring our friends the next time.

We had a fantastic experience and were really impressed with the quality of the drinks! We took home a bottle of vodka, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the rum and bourbon. Definitely worth a visit! Plus, dogs are welcome inside!

The education and liqueur tasting experience were outstanding. They offer their own vodka, white rum, spiced rum, whiskey, and bourbon. Additionally, they sell local products like spices, soda, and maple syrup.
