I decided to pick up lunch here after reading a blog about meghan brandle prince harry, which was fed here on her visit to edinburgh. I'm so glad I did. the foods were fantastic and the staff was incredibly friendly. the mission of social...bits and their ethos is enormously important and I was happy to support such a worthy thing. the quality of food for the price is unreal! highly recommend to pay it forward and leave a few gbp to feed someone in need!
My friend suggested we meet in Social Bite in St Vincent Street for a coffee. I knew that Social Bite was a social enterprise business that supports and employs people who have had problems with homelessness. It was quiet when we visited and we were...able to find a seat easily. We had coffee and tea and were able to sit for as long as we wanted. A nice place to go for a cuppa.
I stopped here to grab some lunch. had an amazing tomato and basil soup with a salmon sandwich. really delicious and healthy lunch. atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. staff friendly and professional. love this place. such a great place to eat something healthy, take a...break from walking around in the city, and people watch.
Seriously impressed with this place. We got a brilliant lunch for amazing value and with really good service. The hot special curry was delicious. really good suppe every day. different choices and great cakes. the imperium biscuits are especially fab. what I really like is the water available when they come and they don't need to ask for cutlery or serviettes. nice service and everything for a...big original. definitely.
Thanks god there’s a place where people actually like their job! Staff was super friendly chilled and funny. Food was out there! Definitely try one of their smoothies too. Great for family brunches. Need to come back to try more of their menu! YUMMY
It's fantastic to see Social Bite thriving and growing. I enjoyed their delicious macaroni and pulled pork dish, which was absolutely delightful and perfect for lunch. Plus, it's great to know that the money spent goes to a good cause.

It is all good and well having a social conscience and doing good things but you also have to provide value for money and Social Bite does both in abundance.
