Sooooo good! 6 minutes detour off the highway when going from La Fortuna to San Jose. The arepas were amazing!!! We had the number 9 (vegetarian) and 12 (vegan). I would have ordered another if I didn’t have 2 more hours to drive. If you are passing by, plan to stop by. You won’t be disappointed. Everything was made fresh. Great flavour. The owner (I assume) is from Venezuela. Trust me. Eat here.
Das war definitiv etwas vom Besten, das wir während unserer ganzen Costa Rica Reise gegessen haben! Wir haben sogar nochmals zwei Empanadas zum Mitnehmen bestellt, weil es so vorzüglich geschmeckt hat! Mindy ist so freundlich und fröhlich. Es ist eine Freude, bei ihr zu essen! Schade gibt es sie nicht in der Schweiz!
Oh lord!!! The arepas are incredible! We had lunch one day, then had to come back before leaving the area the next day. The food is delicious and the prices are very good. Ordered one each of the empanadas to go. When you come here be hungry, they are so delicious you’ll want more than one!!
Wir haben zufällig das Soda von Mindy gefunden und waren begeistert von ihrer Herzlichkeit und dem leckeren Essen! We came across Mindy's small restaurant and were delightfully surprised by her excellent food and sweetness. Highly recommended and worth a stop if you pass by La Virgen!
