My family and I went to eat in this restaurant a few days ago. We ordered soups, and pasta, as a first dish, and then meat as a second dish. Well, they took 45 minutes to serve pasta to my son! I never had such a TERRIBLE service in my life! And the waiter, every time I would ask when my son would be served, he would either rush away saying 'one minute', or would reply sarcastically 'soon'.... He even dared to shove up on my face a glass of beer telling me 'this is to excuse me for the wait'. Beer which I did bot touch! This relatively small restaurant has a wide variety of pizzas and flammkuchen. There are also other choices but the pizzas seem to dominate. The ground floor restaurant is relatively quiet and one can easily converse with one's friends. There is music in the basement. SOG is quite popular with the university students.

This is a nice local restaurant, conveniently located near Pension Katrin in Salzburg. The food was mostly Italian dishes and they had great flatbread pizza and a wonderful Caprese salad, wines by the bottle or glass, and beer on tap. Very reasonably priced.
We enjoyed the Italian food at this restaurant - spaghetti, pizza and great fresh salads, as well as draft beer and wine by the glass. Conveniently located if staying at the Pension Katrin.
This was an excellent wee restaurant for a family meal on a rainy Saturday night. Kids ate pizza, the wine was reasonable and the dessert was very good.
