we have it castell because of its beautiful harbour and all restaurants. we have chosen sol i sal by case and it was a perfect intuition. they can be the tipical menorcan teller, but there are also some special dishes that they do not find. in other restaurants. the atmosphere is very intimate and familiar with few tables and a small open kitchen. the personal is very friendly and always with a smile and they make them feel part of their family. we stayed for 2 nights in mahon and wanted to change the restaurant on the 2nd evening. when we look at the other maps and restaurants, we decided to return to sol i sal. they add only this little something that makes the difference! we come a lot to menorca and this is the first time we visited this relatiw new restaurant. first it looks very attractive with its turquoise thema and it happens to be next to one of our favorite restaurants. the only reason. I didn't give it 5 stars that the staff seemed a little out of the pace, for example our water came instantly, but our wee took one because to come. I would describe this eating here as posh tapas by not being very large, but they are very tasty and well presented. we decided to share fried whitebait as starter and that was very well cooked. we followed this with broken omelette with sobrasada and prawn with kartoffel bombs, (croquettes.) we have no great appetite, so...

this small harbour-side restaurant is located only around the corner of mahon 10 carminutes. it is on the seafront with views of the harbour with small boats around them. we are sunk and relax and enjoy for the cozy lunch. the sun and the sea view. the waitress was very pleasant, and the menu had some interesting dishes available. we ordered the broken omelette with kartoffels, and menorcan sobrassada, menorcan carcinomas with caramelized wobbles and cava. both dishes were very tasty, and the carcinoma sauce was delicious. we will visit in menorca next time.

we were past this restaurant, and to most of the places it was empty early, just fill later. we decided to try how we like tapas. we were greeted by a beautiful waitress. menu and drinks came fast. we ordered a series of. the highlights were the kichererbsalat and the whitebait. the wine was good for the price. depending on the appetit they only need 2-3 dishes per person. the portions are best divided. do not leave themselves to the lack of the guests early, as will be done later. not quite the cheapest, but quality is high.
