We started off well. Summer, chiringuito, seats on the terrace, nice views, easy to control kids while they play on the beach, quick to get our orders, kids received food first, then the adults.... and then they missed one plate. Everybody was finished when we got the plate that was missing (after asking for it to 3 different waiters). Slow to get the bill, slow to pay... food and price are ok for a chiringuito (although I would agree to some of the previous reviews that patatas bravas could me much better if they gave it a home made touch). Like every year, we will return but hopefully we will get better served next year!
As good as on-beach dining as I've had in Catalonia. Mussels were excellent. Service was very quick and friendly. As an aside, the guy who ran the beach rental was quite friendly as well. Sits on the best part of the beach. Great swimming and diving off nearby breakers. I'd very much recommend the town as a family base of operation if you're getting out of Barcelona for a day or so. The restaurant was as good a place as any to eat, swim and sun.
Nice location, very kind staff. Food was mediocre. But the fish soup special was 15€, and was basically some cheap broth and three TINY Pieces of fish… like smaller than a bite tiny. And some mussels. If the soup was only 5€ it would be ok. But i was expecting a big delicious soup for that price. Hamburger was 5€ and was good. If we only ordered two hamburgers this might be a 5 star review. But sad soup experience..
Tras mi mala reseña de hace seis años, viendo que las actuales son buenas, he vuelto a ir. Absolutamente nada que ver con mi anterior visita. Ensaladas buenísimas, calamares y sepias muy buenas, todo lo que hemos comido estaba muy bien. El personal es muy amable y la ubicación como siempre excelente. Nos ha salido a 30€ por persona. Ahora, si lo recomiendo.

Dentro de los chiringuitos que hay en Caldetes, es el que ofrece mejor relación calidad/precio. Local acogedor, con vistas a la playa. Servicio lento, aunque el personal es amable. La calidad de la comida es normal. En verano de 2023 han subido mucho los precios, 8'5€ unas patatas bravas (aunque sean caseras) rozan la estafa...
Para mi lo mejor del lugar ha sido sin duda el servicio, Nahuel nos ha atendido como hacía tiempo! Más profesionales así hacen falta. La comida correcta y las vistas bonitas
Hecho de menos un jefe de sala. Todo ha sido perfecto, hasta que el segundo turno ha empezado a llegar, los atienden, se olvidaron de nosotros.
Nos gusta mucho este chiringuito. Vamos con frecuencia y si lo Recomendó. Ambiente agradable con buenas vistas a la playa.
