Something Fishy

National Fish Chips Day so we thought we'd give it a try. Busy place with a constant stream of customers but we managed to get a table. Order at the counter before sitting down. Regular cod chips and it was ginormous. Neither...of us could finish it and said that next time we'd go for the small Service was quick. Restaurant clean though a lot of it seems to be held together with duct electrical tape!

The real fish n chips! Located in one of the most typical ares of London, surrounded by colors and smells from all over the world, this easy going restaurant is just what you want to taste the real Britishness! Fried is fried, but you can...not always be healthy. And the price is as low as you can get. The chips weren't very good or crispy though.

Fish and mushy peas are excellent, however the chips seem blanched instead of fried and lack crispiness though in fairness this is what you'd expect from a typical chip shop chip. The tartar sauce provided is a bit stingy on the amount and not the...best.

The most amazing bit of fish I have had in a long time. The chips were lovely and the fish was amazing, I wish I had one of these closer to my house ... I'd be in there every day as it is good food

I've only ever had the pie and mash here but it's excellent. Pie, mash, liquer and a mug of tea is Eels also available. It's a full range fish and chip shop as well.
