I have been visiting this Indian restaurant for many years and Always enjoy a consistently excellent meal. I visited this evening with my family. My brother is over from Australia and was looking forward to a good authentic curry . He chose one of the signature dishes, which he said was delicious and tasty. I really enjoyed the King Prawn Puree. Having tried other Indian restaurants while visiting other areas I have never found them to match up. Sonargaon is definitely the BEST Service is always good too.
We have visited the restaurant several times and had lovely meals so decided tonight to order a takeaway. Very disappointed in our meal nothing like we had in the restaurant. The vegetable curry was like a watery stew with a sprinkling of curry powder. The bombay aloo was just boiled potatoes with a very weak sauce. The lemon rice didn't taste of lemon . Sadly we will not be repeating our experience and will look else where for our curry
Extremely disappointed. Ordered a takeaway and waited an hour and 20 minutes for it to arrive. When it did the food was bland, with no taste and certainly a lack of spices. The sauces were watery and started to separate on the plate. Even the sauce with the poppadoms looked as if they’d been hanging around for a while. Not worth it, very disappointing and definitely won’t be ordering from here again.
Always welcomed warmly lovely staff. Food was tasty and we all had very different dishes. Haven’t been for a while but every time we go the food is never very hot as in temperature not spicy) and we have to end up politely asking for it to be heated up. This would not stop us from returning as we love this curry place but …. Please serve the food hot thank you

Outstanding service and food for a fair price. Starters delivered in good time, and we're very tasty. Mains came out together, and we're absolutely delicious. Service throughout was friendly and attentive. Price was £90 for three adults.
Excellent service, food is incredible, Thursday buffet meal is brilliant (5 courses for £15.99! The staff are so so lovely and such a joy to talk to. Thank you!
I am of Indian origin and found the food poor quality. The Saag Aloo was just a boiled potato in flavouless saag. There are much better restaurants around.
Food was lovely really excellent service and super desserts as well manager was very professional recommend highly ! Good menu lots of choice for everyone
