Friends said this restaurant was good so decided to give it a try. It offers more varieties on food selection and the food is comparatively cheaper (many noodles are under $10) than many other Vietnamese restaurants. Surprisingly the spring rolls are made of rice paper instead of Chinese spring rolls paper, really authentic, though they need to improve their deep frying skills. They also offer Bun Bo Hue which is only available in certain authentic Vietnamese restaurants somewhere in Forest Lawn of Calgary. Service is so-so. We forgot to specify we wanted 3 spring rolls and by default they would give you large size (5 spring rolls), so watch out! My son ordered sliced rare beef and tripe and...

I went with approx 14 family members for lunch on a Friday afternoon. They were busy and majority of the staff were great. The service manager was arrogant and angry and acted so unprofessional. He made reference to our table (because we asked where our food was) as "stupid" in Vietnamese. Being all westerners at our table he didn't think any of us would understand but I did. I have been associated with the Vietnamese community for over 15 years so I know a small amount of the language. The food was fantastic. But I won't go back as he tried to make us look like the bad guys for asking where our food was (after waiting for 30 mins) as half our table had received their food.

Six of us were here in Oct 14 2015. We had 67 hofun beef, 70 combination seafood stir fried egg noodle (crispy), 74 salted cubic beef, 79 braised chicken w lemongrass, 100 fried prawn w tamarind sauce, 124 XO ox tongue, 158 water spinach w sambal, rice. All the dishes were worthy with the tamarind prawns excellent (nine decent sized for $25). The portions of all the dishes were generous, dishes came out hot and the total cost was $135. So good value for money. The service was a little tardy but not unexpected for this genre of family-run restaurants.

Well I seem to come across very good Vietnamese eating places, and this one in the main St Albans precinct is no exceptionWe went to lunch with family friends of my wife, and had a nice regular viet noodle soup. We had been here one time before, and found it to be of a good standard. So, when in St Albans again, I know where to go for a good, value meal Réservez une table maintenant

Food is nice, however the service is really bad, we never get the welcoming smile from the owner (a lady who is always at the counter). She even never says "thank" when you pay the bill, so rude. Food is ok but my family rarely come here due to their service. Hope they will improve in some way.

I’ve been twice to this restaurant and look forward to going many more times. Fabulously fresh, quality ingredients. No skimping here – prawns are meaty even in the rice/noodle dishes & at low prices to boot! Memorable meals e.g. the Pipis served with dipping donuts! Love this place.

No one smiles here but there are 2 dishes that are really good and worth the visit. Bun Bo Hue and Dry Stir Fry Hor Fun with Beef so far the best in St Albans. Just need to bear with the overworked and unfriendly staff. For the love of good food .....

This cafe is usually crowded - for a good reason - the food is fresh and delicious. The menu features dishes from the central region of Vietnam as well as using ingredients such as kangaroo and crocodile. There is indoor and outdoor seating Réservez une table maintenant

Song Huong normally is a crowd pleaser! Best time to come at lunch time for their Bun Bo Hue. Do not order it during the evening because the soup will be bland as they are just topping it up with water if they are having a busy day.
