Sonnenalm - Réservation de table

The Sonnen Alm has little to do with an alpine pasture and more with a large restaurant on the mountain. View is great. The terrace offers plenty of space for guests. When we arrived the terrace was hardly attended. Only a few guests. A friendly waiter gave us the menu because he saw that his colleague, who was actually in charge of the area, was not there. That was the positive. We had chosen something and were waiting. And waited and waited. It was foggy and not very warm. So it slowly became uncomfortable. Went there for brunch today. Nice reception. That was it then. The menu with timing was copied from last year but forgot to change the dates. This is how we as a team look forward to the 2023 brunch season... ambience; Nice but... Table for 6, there were three of us, 3 more guests came along. No problem! Problems arise because every time someone goes to the buffet, 4 people have to get up because the table can only be accessed from one side. Food: well... For the price, rather bad. Among other things, veal schnitzel was offered. Special attention goes to the preparer of this product. The schnitzels were pounded to 0.5mm and generously breaded. Impressive location, unforgettable magic from the early evening and early morning, when only the overnight guests are there and the cable car no longer runs. Rooms very small, but it's just a hut and in comparison it's top class. Unfortunately there was very poor service at the Sonnenalm. Had to wait forever for the conditions. Drinks came way too late. Unfortunately there wasn't all the food left either. Just a very small map. Service: 1

Fantastic view and such beautiful large windows! After a lovely hiking tour through the snow, it was a great joy to find an open hut! Food was delicious and service was friendly!
