Went to Pinellas Park Sonny's today for the Wednesday special. Got this text saying National BBQ Month @Sonnys Pin Park! Every WED in May Sliced/Pulled Pork Big Deal Combo $6.99, Chicken Dinners $8.99. All u can eat, alcohol, taxes not included so my wife and I both ordered the all u can eat chicken, food was good and very filling with first plate. I ordered extra beans and my wife did not get anything else. When the bill came the dinner was not $8.99 it was $19.99. I asked the waitress about it and she said $8.99 meal was not all u can eat and she had been dealing with this same issue all day. Nice way to con the public, extra beans cost me $11.00. Came in at 3:30pm on a Tuesday. Hardly anyone here and couldn't find an employee to seat me for about 5 minutes, just people in the back chatting. Floor had what appeared to be a soft drink, dripped all over from the door to about 7ft past the hostess station. I alerted the hostess/server and they said they'd get to it when they can. Then I was seated at a table that hadn't been cleaned. Unbelievable. Poorly managed for sure. Ordered a pulled pork on garlic bread. The garlic bread was /hard/stale. Let the waitress know and she brought me some fresh garlic bread to transfer the pulled pork to.
Very disappointed at this particular location....I got the all you can eat St. Luis ribs. First round was fine, then I got a completely burnt dried out second round (see pics below). One of the servers was very dismissive, the Manger was non-chalant, instead tried to convince me it was the same quality. Clearly, they charge you an extra $6 for leftovers/bad batch. Do yourself a favor and find another place to get ribs. (There plenty of good ones around the area)
I recently had the best salad bar I've had in a long time at this restaurant. I joked with the staff about their lack of garlic bread, my favorite, but it actually worked out well for me since I was trying to stick to my diet. Unfortunately, they couldn't make any due to a minor grilling/fire issue. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very kind and accommodating. She even made me a drink to take with me.

I love all the food at Sonny's and have probably had everything on the menu at some point.over the years. I lived in Gainesville,FL, and was very familiar with Mr. Sonny Tillman. My absolute favorite chicken salad in the world is the chicken salad Sonny's serves on their salad bar! It is delicious!
I had the privilege of watching the staff and management help a family in the community. This amazing store packed a whole meal and helped me to the car to deliver it. I have never been more proud of a business Thank you
This restaurant is a great place to eat with bottomless sodas, but the decor is lacking with unappealing paintings. I was hoping to see some license plates and movie posters to add some personality to the atmosphere.
She had the salad bar (5- 'S, too), and I had the baby back ribs dinner. Only about the best St. Louis-style ribs I 've ever.. blah blah! We will return!! And our server was very nice, too!

The pulled pork sandwich on garlic bread was great and I loved the barbecued beans. I got really good service too.
Always great.. Kelly Church is the best server. We always ask for her. Food is always great....
