Straight from the door you’re greeted and acknowledged which is super appreciated and welcoming! Hostess and waiters were very friendly. Family and I tried out the Chicken Caesar Wrap and the Huevos Rancheros. As latinos ourselves, we recognized that the Huevos Rancheros had their own twist from what we usually order at classic Mexican restaurants. It definitely did not disappoint. It was executed very well. It was paired with home fries that honestly might be some of the most well-seasoned home fries we’ve tasted. I visited this restaurant because it had a charming, cozy atmosphere, and I decided to order food to go. I chose the Seafood Risotto and two Chicken Empanadas. However, when I got home and was eager to dig in, I was let down. I could only eat three shrimp from the risotto—the rest of it was quite disappointing. The chicken empanadas didn't taste like chicken at all; they had an unusual flavor that I couldn't tolerate. Overall, I felt like I wasted my money since I live too far away to return for a refund.
Absolutely delicious! As soon as we walked in, Pedro greeted us warmly, setting the stage for outstanding service throughout our meal. Every course—from the drinks and appetizers to the main dishes and desserts—was simply delightful. Each bite felt like a luxurious experience, highlighting the chef’s remarkable skills. This was our first time here, but it definitely won’t be our last! A big shoutout to Pedro, the attentive staff, and the fantastic chef for making our dining experience truly unforgettable.
We enjoyed a delightful dinner in a cozy setting in downtown Rutherford on a snowy evening. We shared our usual favorites: guacamole, a steak sandwich, and a salmon burrito bowl. Waiter extremely friendly and helpful. Place is underrated. I’m from Long Island but had to take the time to let you guys know the food is high quality and reasonably priced. Well seasoned. 2nd time here and it’s was awful !!! Service was super slow, Music was club music playing, and it was not appropriate for the atmosphere. This place was really good when it first opened it’s gone to the bottom. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, but the walls and ceiling were highly reflective, which caused the sound to carry a lot. One group, in particular, was doing shots and their loudness made it hard to hear each other at our table. On the positive side, the food was outstanding.
