Sonoma is probably my favorite bar in the entire city. It’s cozy and friendly and has become my safe place to enjoy a glass of wine by myself, which was a big plus for me. Taylor is so good about remembering what I did and didn’t like about something I tried that. whenever Taylor or Edgar do have a free second which can be rare they entertain some really great conversation and the banter between them is hilarious. 10/10 stay and chat with them it makes the wine time even better IMO!
After being a happy customer for years, I held my birthday party at Sonoma in their private room. The charcuterie was amazing as well as the Prosecco we had as guests arrived. Laura took great care of us and Taylor was helpful booking the party. Highly recommend this location for date night or a private party.
Love this place. It's a cozy, charming neighborhood spot with an amazing assortment of wine. The food is a treat, as well! Taylor, Edgar and Laura are so attentive and gracious. They take great care of their clientele. They are also very knowledgeable and always make the best recommendations!
It’s a great place to taste a wide range of wine and the food is delicious. The staff is knowledgeable about the origin story of each bottle and provides a good sense of what each person might like. One of the coolest wine bars in Houston, Texas with an excellent selection of wines and delicious Bordeau pizza. Our go-to wine bar for our monthly skipper's meeting. Great food, good vibes and service.
Taylor is an amazing host. Great spot. Even better service. Makes you feel at home. Highly recommend you just ask Taylor to give you his somm recommendation. He won’t let you down.

"I really love this place!! Amazing coffee, delicious food and great desserts pastries. They are open until 23:00, so it is a really good place for evening work or study. The only drawback that has happened in several visits is to prepare food for a long time."
