One of the best Italian Deli in all NYC. From the minute I walked in I was treated like family. The owner even gave me samples of their house made mozzarella, as well as spicy and sweet Soppresata and this is all before I even placed my order. The menu is extensive however, my order was based on rave reviews of the “Godfather” and “Sorriso”. Let me tell you both were mind blowing good, all meats fresh and bread seem like they get it delivered from next door bakery fresh. Recently, I contacted them to help send a care package to New Orleans for my daughter's wedding. Frank and Peter were incredibly patient with me, answering my numerous phone calls to see if they could arrange for an overnight shipment to arrive right when I needed it for an event before the wedding day. They treated me like family, calling to confirm the shipping on the day it was sent, informing me when it arrived, and following up to ensure that everything met my expectations. I really wanted to give these guys a positive review, but I ordered the pasta salad and the ravioli was either uncooked or possibly left out for days. It was as hard as rocks. Other than that, the food is pretty good.
