Visiting Peralada for a few days and thought we would call in and have a drink with a view to eating in this acclaimed restaurant during our visit. Unfortunately the manager owner wasn’t having any of it . Opened the door to enter the restaurant and asked if my wife and I could have a drink , was told no drink only a la Carte menu available. Asked for a menu and was told a la carte menu in a very unfriendly manner ! My wife asked if they had a lunchtime menu and he said no and slammed the door in our faces ! In the end we tried the Peralada golf club restaurant for a drink, was made very welcome so booked for an evening meal. The meal, service and hospitality was excellent . Would definitely...
After reading some of the reviews I was a bit dubious as to what or experience would be like..... The food was great, the owner was eccentric but nice and he’s wife and the team also Lovely. I am a fussy vegetarian and he created a lovely blue cheese salad for me and vegetable angel hair spaghetti... divine. I eat out at top London restaurants regularly and this is amongst some of the best restaurants that I’ve been to. Any chef that seems a little “off” is usually passionate about their food and this guy certainly was! Once we started chatting he was a really nice guy. Highly recommended
Llegamos sin reserva y nos atendieron sin problemas. El producto era fresco y con variedad, estaba todo riquísimo! A destacar el trato, fue de 10, mi pareja y yo estamos muy agradecidos a la creo que era la dueña por ser tan tan amable. Gracias a ella hemos pasado una bonita tarde, así que si lees esto, Millones de gracias! Recomiendo este lugar al 100
