Sotavent - Réserver une table

You need to walk 5-7 min from the main beach towards the interior of l'Escala. So you don't have a nice sea view during the meal. So you only pay for the food. Hence good quality price value from the food perspective: Usual pattern at least in Costa Brava. They have Gluten Free pasta and pizza base. Also GF bread and beer. So they are very well-prepared for GF people. Much above average in Costa Brava. Good mix of local dishes (mussels, squid, fish, meat) and Italian (pizza, pasta). Good and familiar service.

I've not reviewed Sotavent in almost 10 years and that error needs to be corrected as I eat in this charming restaurant regularly as well as enjoy their takeout pizza The menu is varied and offers delicious and well prepared food. Service is friendly yet professional with the owner making a point of greeting each table and is often the person seating the table as well.

Called in for a meal one evening and so glad we did. Friendly staff large menu and good wine. Our starters were huge and delicious as was the main, couldn't manage a pudding. A very nice evening in nice surroundings.

We return year after year and are never disappointed. Pizza, pasta and meat dishes can highly recommend. If you like whiskey you will love whiskey cake. Sangria great and Wi-Fi for kids.

Good food, lovely friendly service. Kids enjoyed lasagna pizzas adults enjoyed grilled fish, grilled baby squids, and salads.
