It was pretty solid. The guys behind the counter were super nice and friendly, and the food looked good! It IS a bit of a hole in the wall, so that's what you're getting. Don't expect it to be too clean or have the opportunity to stand around. Order, get your food and go.The desserts were alright, though. Wasn't a big fan, but maybe I just got the wrong things.
This restaurant is truly exceptional! The food is authentic, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. Everything is freshly prepared and not overly greasy, making it a healthy option. The homestyle cooking reminds me of my mother's meals. I am thrilled to have discovered this place and plan on returning frequently.
The food is ok, though I think some of the halal trucks beat it. We had the chicken shawarma platter and dolma. The meat was pretty dry and bland. Dolma were dolma--decent but not amazing. We ordered pickup and the food wasn't ready when we arrived so we had to wait for them to cook and assemble it. All in all a meh experience.
Lebanese cuisine with freshly grilled kebab plates. They also have traditional prepared foods. Inside there is also a grocery store. The food tasted fresh and authentic. No interior seats. Not restaurant level, but much higher than your typical car food. Prices are reasonable, would definitely recommend and would visit again. Réservez une table maintenant
This is undoubtedly the best shawarma you'll find in NYC, hands down. It could very well be the best Lebanese food in the city too. I'm so grateful that this place exists, and the staff are always friendly, kind, and helpful. You must give it a try. Rating: 5 out of 5.
The food at Souk El Shater is amazing! I had never experienced chicken shawarma like this before. The prices are reasonable, but keep in mind there is no seating available. Overall, I would give the food a 5 out of 5 rating.
Went here for dinner and had the most amazing experience! Fantastic portions, flavorful food, decent parking in the area, and the nicest owner. Highly recommend especially for big groups!

Great food kabab with hummus Tabouli .They have all the Mediterranean foods and sweets to take home or to eat there. Great family business.
