I live in Saint James, so I find myself going to Soul Brew for breakfast on the weekends somewhat regularly. Overall- I find the food tasty and the servers kind and accommodating. Unfortunately, when I went on Sunday the 22nd, I had an exceptionally poor experience. When I walked in, I waited at the host stand for 10 full minutes without being greeted by any employees (along with 2 other groups also waiting to be seen and seated). After that I waited for another 20 minutes to be buzzed for a table. It really is a shame. Have loved the food from soul brew for years. The past five six times Ive been, im told to wait which is no problem. But tables come in after you and just sit down at dirty tables to avoid waiting. Waiters dont say anything. Still continue to wait for a table to be handed off by the front person. However, the waiters hand off tables to people they know rather than people who have been sitting patiently for 20+ min. Some people waiting are given buzzers, some are told to put their name down. I waited for 40 minutes, even though the waiter assured me it would only be a 15-minute wait. In fact, at least two tables that arrived after me were seated before I was. The waiter was extremely rude; she turned her back on me while I was inquiring about my wait time and walked away before I could finish my sentence. She insisted on seating me at the bar despite several small tables being available. I'm appalled by how the waiter treated the customers—I've never experienced anything like this before. I will never return to this restaurant. I waited an hour to be seated because they insisted on placing me at the bar, despite there being clearly available tables. Meanwhile, others who arrived after me were seated right away. The waitress was also incredibly rude when I inquired about the seating. I had a previous experience here and noticed that they occasionally serve burnt food. I cannot recommend either their food or the atmosphere.
I recently had the pleasure of enjoying brunch at a delightful spot. The price per person was quite reasonable, falling between $20 and $30. I highly recommend trying the Tater Tots; they were crispy and delicious! Additionally, the Avocado Toast was absolutely fantastic and a must-try. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience!
I adore the charming and cozy ambiance of this place, especially their signature lattes! It's always exciting to try the latte of the month, and my personal favorite has been the rainbow cookie latte. The food is delicious as well! I highly recommend Soul Brew, whether you're looking for a quick coffee or a relaxing meal.

Mostly good food but terrible and slow service! Even when they aren't busy they aren't good about being attentive to ALL tables! Although lattes are excellent and a large variety. But unless you want to wait for a while go somewhere else.
