Very nice food - vegetarian, vegan, organic and gluten free - yes delicious and healthy. Full breakfast and lunch menu. Have eat in and takeaways. Smallish, casual and cosy with a nice feel to it. Counter a bit squashed and would be good to have the food in the cabinet better labelled. Choice of large and small tables and people can sit on lounge suites or lounge chairs. A good photographic exhibition was also on, there is a cleared space e.g. for meditation/yoga and art classes, and a kids toy box. Quite busy which was a good recommendation. Arrive early it closes at 2.30pm. Good place if visiting Araluen Botanic Gardens, Canning Dam, Churchman Brook Dam, or the Perth Hills/Roleystone gener...
This cafe is amazing!! Their vegetarian and vegan based menu is full of delicious and nurturing food, my mouth is watering just thinking of their pulled jackfruit tacos and acai bowl.The coffee and house-made tea blends are amongst the best I've had in Perth, or anywhere for that matter.A beautiful space with a tranquility that will have you immediately relaxed and at home the moment you walk in. I love how this place is always changing: you come back the next week and the tables and chairs have moved around, new books have appeared and amazing new artwork is displayed on its walls. Went here on recommendation and we ordered a mushroom burger and vegetable curry, coffee and water. The burger was simple and delicious, even the vegan cheese! Unfortunately I can't say the same about the curry. How to describe the taste....you know when you smell things you can taste it? Well, that hospital disinfectant you smell? That's exactly what the curry tasted like to us both. We didnt finish it.Polite staff but a bit slow on service. The place itself is lovely and peaceful tucked away in the hills.Will I go back. Yes. However no curry for us.
We dropped in on our way to York... I'm not a person who usually has a big breakfast order without some form of meat BUT this restaurant's all non-meat menu (they do great eggs though) was AWESOME. The hash browns were made of freshly grated potato, the poached eggs were perfect, the sourdough toast was crisp yet light and the home made beans were delicious. Unfortunately, My wife and I ate our meals too fast and forgot to take a photo of the food to share with everyone. I have been drawn to this small sanctuary in Roleystone. Amongst many other options, it stands out with its exceptional fresh, creative food, delicious teas and coffee, and a tranquil atmosphere. There are also numerous events happening regularly, making it a great place to visit.
Souljahs is a must-visit destination when you're planning a trip to the hills. In fact, it's worth making the trip just to experience this restaurant! The setting is stunning, the food is delicious and wholesome, and the service is excellent. And don't forget to try their amazing raw treats—they're the best ever!
I meet a friend for lunch as I wanted to try out the raw treats. I had the raw pizza which was very tasty and was looking forward to,a raw sweet treat. However, I was disappointed that there was only a very small number of sweet treats to choose from. Hopefully on my next visit the display cabinet will be full!
