Don’t miss out on their muffins and homemade cookies, which are wonderfully soft and gooey. Although the dessert case was a bit sparse due to the impending closing time, they still offered a nice selection of cold drinks. The outdoor seating area is charming, featuring lovely views of the greenery around. The café is conveniently situated, offering plenty of parking and a T station just across the street.
This restaurant truly deserves a flawless 10/10 in every aspect. The freshly baked bread was toasted to perfection, while the home fries were seasoned exceptionally well, boasting the perfect level of crispiness. The bacon was cooked just right, too. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the owner doubling as both chef and server, managing the entire establishment on his own. The service was outstanding.

I really enjoy having lunch at this restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is fantastic. Whenever I'm working in Waltham, I always make it a point to grab lunch from South Street Cafe.

This is hands down the best sandwich I've ever had in my life, and I’m not even a fan of sandwiches! The chicken pesto is incredible, and I’ll definitely be coming back at least once a week.
