Horrible. I every time I go here I say it?s the last time smh. The food quality has gone down a lot over the yrs. I just don?t understand how they are still in business. Today I only came because I took dinner out the freezer late and it?s still frozen. The mac n cheese taste like something out of a box. It?s so nasty. The chicken is tasteless and the mashed potatoes are so cold my 14 month old won?t even eat them. He won?t eat any of it and he loves chicken. SAVE YOUR MONEY
I placed my first order online for delivery and received a very small, about 4oz, dried-out salmon. It was extremely small and overcooked. Hoping to support them in person, I visited the restaurant, only to be met by a rude cashier who seemed indifferent to the issue I had raised beforehand. They showed no interest in resolving the problem. I definitely won’t be coming back a third time. The yams were good, which is why I’m giving two stars, but the salmon was disappointing.
I usually don?t leave negative reviews, but I feel inclined to today. First, I live about 30 mins from the closest location. So I ordered my food over the phone. The lady tells me it will be about 15/20 mins. So I hope in the car and head over as soon as we disconnect. I arrive about 30 mins later and walk inside, fully expecting the order to be ready or maybe even have been siting for a few minutes. Not the case. The food was not ready. Very disappointed that door dash orders aren?t properly secured. When dasher handed me the bag it wasn?t even tied! I opted to waste my money and not eat either of the 2 meals as I ordered delivery due to having COVID and am not willing to chance compromising my immune system further by potentially eating food that could have been tampered with! Given all the tamper resistant supplies that are available for delivery orders, it surprises me that an establishment such as Réservez une table maintenant
The food at Southern Blues Soul Food is truly enjoyable, and the drinks are excellent as well. Although I’ve only been once, the salmon I had was a bit dry, but this photo showcases one of their best dishes. That said, I found the prices somewhat high considering the portion sizes. For this meal, which included very little rice, I paid about $17, and that seemed a bit expensive for the amount served. I believe they could benefit from reassessing their portion sizes.
Placed a catering order on July 29 for an event August 13. Called to confirm my order was ready and it was not. I was told it would take 40 minutes to prepare my food which would have made me late for my event. Someone definitely dropped the ball. After an exchange of a few choice words between me and the manager I asked for my money back! WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN
Southern Blues Soul Food is one of the top takeout spots on Liberty Road. The menu always delivers great flavors, and I have never been disappointed. The catfish dinner is absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be returning!
This is my second visit to this restaurant, and I didn't leave a review the first time. I really enjoyed their lemonades; during my last visit, I tried the blue raspberry, which was on the sweeter side. Réservez une table maintenant
