Southern Family was a real treat. The food was great, the staff were very nice, and the portions were massive. Very, very highly recommend this restaurant. The five of us ordered a little bit of everything and shared so we could try it all. Everything on their menu is excellent. Their seafood menu is huge, too. I think there were about a dozen seafood options. We didn't try them all in one visit, but what we did try was excellent. Even the sides were huge and delicious, of course. Our waitress was an absolute doll. She couldn't have been any nicer. My grilled chicken salad was delicious and my husband had jumbo fried shrimp. We both enjoyed our meals very much.

Food is great. Would have rated it a 5 but for the comical thimble of tartar I was given for the amount of fish in the plate. It’s almost insulting lol

The popcorn shrimp was great and there was alot of it. The rest of our food was ok. Watery coffee, bland codfish, mushy coleslaw, etc.
