I was fighting with my husband the fifth time today, since I forgot about the other four times I fought with him, when I was reminded that it is our anniversary today , to which I screeched at him , raising a butter knife with my heavily stenched foot, to which he fluttered his eyelids to a deep REM sleep, since he is 85, but immediately peeled open his eyes realizing he was in danger , and took me here to this cute diner, to which we ate while he reminisced his time in the Vietnamese war
Huge portions at reasonable prices. I would have fed a little family with my breakfast. Everything was good. Hash Browns were excellent, Omelette was huge, chicken fried steak was tender. Swedish pancakes were a bit more gumier than I expected, but taste was good. Regular pancakes were fluffy. Service was great, very attentive and frequent coffee refills offered. It's worth the ride.
3/6/2022 at 9:45. Still friendly staff. Menudo is tasteful. New menu, many possibilities. 6/26/21 Post Covid, staff as friendly as before, food choices and price reasonable. Many seats in the indoor and outdoor areas. Bar seats are gone. Chef is fast and consistent. Cudes to Jasmine y Antonio. Parking in the back. 9/12/20 As good as prefabricated.
11/18/23 points Had a server who was really rude she's around her 40's black/ brwnish hair she speaks spanish average height but denied speaking the language and my brother in law had to ask me to translate this place does not need people like this working here. It's so sad how your own race won't help each other out. The food was good. Réservez une table maintenant
Looove this cute little diner! Just discovered it today... its over 60 years old! Amazing! Furthermore... they do huevos rancheros style eggs with hashbrowns... the best!
Very very casual style diner on Monterey rd. Food is delicious! Menudo is awesome and American style breakfasts is awesome too. Fast service with very friendly staff.
Awesome tasty Hawaiian Waffle. And you know how hard it is to find a place that has a good breakfast! Staff is friendly, coffee is hot and tasty!
