A few weeks ago, I stopped by this restaurant for lunch while passing through, and I was really impressed. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was outstanding. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with slaw and a tomato-based bisque with gouda that was simply divine. My meal was prepared quickly with hardly any wait time. The place was bustling with locals who clearly appreciate the great food and inviting atmosphere. It's conveniently located right off the highway, making it easy to access if you're traveling nearby. I highly recommend it—I also absolutely love the vibe here!
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was friendly and welcoming, and it was great to know that the beef is sourced locally. The food was absolutely delicious, and the breathtaking view of the mountains in the background added to the overall charm of the place. Although it's a small dinner spot, I truly loved it. The onion rings I ordered were cooked to perfection; they were the best I've ever had!
Southern Scoops is the best place in the county for lunch and/or ice cream. The restaurant and bathroom are always clean. Not many places that keep their bathroom clean. The music is great, 50's/60's. Can't beat the menu selection, too. The food is delicious. And, well, Hersey's ice cream! Can't beat that! I would give them more stars if I could! Owners and staff are very nice and accommodating.
I got the chicken salad sandwich with walnuts and grapes. It was filled overflowing and delicious. I wanted a malt and they had 32 flavors to choose from; I had a banana malt like I haven?t had since the 70?s and it was absolutely perfect! Good food, very helpful and friendly staff, and a hood old fashioned milkshake from days gone by. ????????????????

The food here is tasty, and the staff is friendly. It has a cozy, hometown vibe. However, I was disappointed when my receipt didn't match the prices listed on the menu for my order, which included several items. I understand that prices are increasing, but it's important that menus accurately reflect what customers will be charged.
Had a quick lunch. Needed to add a little more chicken salad to the sandwich. Staff was very friendly, but the young man needs a little more training on waiting tables. Had to ask for napkins and silverware.
Ice cream was good! Food was not so good.The service was excellent. Price as to quality of food does not match, especially when compared to other local establishments that sell food and ice cream.
The service was excellent and the food quality was good, but I felt that the portion sizes should be larger considering the prices. It was a bit pricey for the amount of food served.

Decent size menu. Great place to stop. The view is breath taking. This is the best milk shake i've ever had in my life. Whatever made it is magical.? ?
The cheese curds and the ice cream were delicious. All of the staff were very kind and attentive.
