Being a long time customer of Southern Spice, my family and I recently dove into their new banana leaf special, and it was a delightful experience. It's refreshing to find an Indian restaurant that embraces the traditional South Indian culinary vibe, bringing back memories of home with every flavorful bite. The chicken sukka, mutton samba biriyani, and shrimp fry were definite highlights for me – a burst of familiar tastes that made the dining experience even more special. This is the worst restaurant I visit in my whole life.. i don’t want to give even 1 star for this. They didn’t treat well worst food i ordered biryani and one dosa we wait for more than 1 hour after that they bring the food. In menu it was 11$ one biryani and when they bring the check its charged 14$ for biryani… without informing us they took 11$ tip… they even didn’t bring water for us when we are eating… trust me its a review game business.. don’t be fool by seeing google review like me.
I thoroughly enjoy dining at Southern Spice! The attentive waitstaff recommended delightful vegetarian dishes, and my favorites are the paneer butter masala and masala dosa. Conveniently, they also offer Kati rolls for a quick and delicious takeout option, especially after a long day at work. Additionally, the owner and his family personally looks up to the guests and makes them feel so homely. Highly recommended to go and try their delicious food and great services.

This is a great place to go for indian cuisine. Everyone is so polite and they really make you feel very comfortable. The food was fantastic as well. I will be going back here again. If anyone is thinking about going, I highly recommend this place! :
Shri and his staff at Southern Spice are very nice. The meals are always tasty and he will help you select items off the menu if you’re unsure. Highly recommend for spicy Indian food!
Very authentic and delicious South Indian food and awesome service! I loved how they served the meals over banana leaves. Don’t miss the biriyani here!
Great food great people, best south indian food in Long Island. We had chicken sukkaa and chetinad goat curry.
