I used to goto this restaurant but what I ate there today was the most pathetic form of food and cooking I ever had in LA. Firstly the Vepudu Chicken had no spice no salt and it looked stale. The Uttappam was half cooked and Idlis were stale and even the Chettinad chicken felt totally tasteless. The Mango lassi was bitter like it was a week old and after complaining they have another one. The rice which came with Chicken Chettinad was clearly looking stale and yellowish
We came here for the Thursday South Indian buffet, but we reached the place quite late in the evening when the buffet was over. So, we went with ala carte and ordered 2 ghee dosas (with masala on the side) and a dahi vada. To our surprise, they gave us complimentary vada and halwa too. All the dishes were tasty and delicious.
Do not let anyone tell you how great ???????? it is? Or otherwise. TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!! And tell us what you think. Personally mind blowing flavors, perfectly cooked rice, naan (bullet naan 100/10) and their curry an incomparable flavor!!! Authentic and delicious. Extremely satisfied customer.
Please do not rely on the ratings for this restaurant; they are misleading. We ordered food from here, and it was overly sweet, tasteless, and overall quite disappointing. I strongly advise against ordering based on these ratings. Réservez une table maintenant
Food presentation is great , ghee dosa is absolutely garbage, wait time could use some decreasments and could work more efficiently under pressure and under their busy hours (6-8pm PST).
Best Indian food in town. Everything is really good and tasty. Great spot! Highly recommend! Go here for some awesome food not the atmosphere.
