I've been encountering really disappointing customer service lately, and sadly, the food quality seems to be declining as well. I often order peas and dumplings from this restaurant, but on my last visit, the dumplings were mushy. When I asked if they were fresh, a staff member argued with me, insisting they weren't that way—almost suggesting that I was simply having a bad day. Instead of addressing my concern, he became rude and told me to go eat somewhere else. It's frustrating when the food isn't up to standard, and being treated in that manner is completely unacceptable.
Southfork Deli is a real hidden gem. I had passed by several times before finally deciding to check it out. To my surprise, they cook everything fresh on site. I ordered the cheeseburger combo, and it was cooked to order—juicy and full of flavor. I've definitely found a new favorite place to eat. Plus, they offer dine-in seating as well. It’s a must-try! Well made food fast . Unique place with a down to earth, real, homey kind of feel. Order your burger the way you want it. Or, enjoy a real grilled cheese sandwich or chicken salad, just like mom used to make.
