I went to Alexanders Williamstown with my family including two little children both are good eaters only when there are right food on the table. I ordered food they normally like and hoped this lunch could go smoothly. When the food for them was ready, I had a try and relaxed as it was very nice that they would definitely enjoy. The dish we all loved the most was the creamy garlic prawn platter which had the perfect combination of the natural beauty of the prawn itself and the human touch with cream and garlic to boost the flavor. Staff members were very friendly and thoughtful. They organised the serving in an efficient way to avoid unnecessary interruptions when we were chatting yet provid...

After having lunch at the nearby Yacht Club Hotel we walked past this venue whilst returning to our car.We decided to pop in for Sweets. My wife had a Chai Latte and we shared Churros (Cinnamon Doughnuts w Chocolate Ganache) and the Crepes filled w Nutella, Strawberries and fresh Banana. The sweets were a very reasonable $5 each. The courtyard sitting lacks ambiance and there are also a few tables also set up on the footpath and this small venue seems to cater more for takeaway.Unfortunately we were full otherwise we would have tried their special of the day which was Tempura Soft Shell Crab with Avocado Salsa at $12.50.This mostly takeaway venue where service is via a self service window see...

Went to Vault on Nelson (previously Alexanders) last night and was very disappointed.I ordered fillet steak which I did not like the look of when served and did not taste good. The steak looked like it had been cooked in a pressure cooker, soft and a little mushy certainly no grill marks, and accompaniments were a diced soft mix of vegetables and what was supposed to be potato gratin which was still uncooked. A very poor dish. My partner ordered beef ribs which looked nothing like ribs instead looked more like ox tail it was really awful half of it was fat. Needless to say we were very disappointed. Since having new owners it has really gone downhill and can't possibly stay in Gold Class in...

We came to Alexanders for dinner on last Sunday. It's the first time we have been there. The chill and rain made us walk in the restaurant. They were kind of quiet when we arrived. Only a few tables. We were hesitated to stay. Lucky it ended up a really enjoyable night for us. The oyster platter for $30 on special was a great deal. And their garlic prawn was generously sized and very delicious. My partner loved the vegetarian tofu steak. The waiters were being attentive and friendly. It seems that they were keen to get feedback on their food and service. It's very enjoyable experience for us. Réservez une table maintenant

Looking for a quick dinner snack and though I'd give this a try as I was passing by.Disappointed and threw out the offending wrap thinking that 'life is too short to eat bad souvlaki (depsite it costing more than $12)'My first shock was the wait - 22 minutes for a piece of pita, a few pieces of lamb and lettuce? Then the size: 13cm souvlaki a decent dinner does not make! And then the congealed tzatziki/minty sauce dolop. I won't go on, but you get the drift. Not a brilliant day for me at the Souva Stop

We called in for a bite of lunch and a beer to slake our thirst on a Monday. It was a windy day and the staff were most welcoming and helpful suggesting we sit inside rather than ion the alfresco area.We had the pumpkin arancini which were brilliant; the pumpkin and feta dip which was fresh and very tasty and a bowl of chips with herb salt which were very moreish. The staff were very friendly.Great place. We would certainly come back for a long lunch or dinner when we come to Williamstown again.

Delicious take away souva or sit down in their dog friendly court yard. My dogs loved it with lots of space and a huge umbrella to block the leaves and bugs! Had a lamb souva and my friend had a vegetarian souva which was both delicious! Réservez une table maintenant

Not a bad place to eat, found my souva to be mainly filled with lettuce. Still yummy. The churros are delicious! Nice to sit in the little courtyard.
