Sovereign - Réservation de table

My husband and I have been to Sovereign twice now (first time was before the current menu) and we can only say great things about this restaurant! The food is excellent- thoughtful and well prepared. The drink menu has a lot to offer and everything we've tried has been great. The ambience is really cool and unique. The staff is friendly and professional. This most recent time I ordered the half chicken dish, I loved it and my husband said it was the best chicken he has ever had. My husband ordered the steak special (Born of Fire) which was a flank steak with chimichurri, corn hash and a fried egg- this was actually my favorite of the night! Both of our orders really surpassed our expectation...

Update: just an FYI, the enchiladas have been retired and a BBQ seitan dish has replaced them. It's pretty good but not as good as the enchiladas. I love Soverign. The brussel sprouts are divine, and that's coming from someone that doesnt like brussel sprouts. The enchiladas are amazing, very delicious. Possibly one of the tastiest entrees I've ever enjoyed at a restaurant. Vegan options, though few, are labeled on the menu clearly. Glad to have somewhere with omni and vegan options in Plainfield. Great booze selection. Patio seating is cozy and wonderful. Really love this place.

Food is very poor as of recent. The food quality changed drastically recently and I wondered why and come to find out they got a new head chef. I was confused why the food could be so poor and come to find out from a couple servers that the chef is a terrible person. Always rude to his fellow staff and treats everyone as if they are his doormat. This place should reconsider who they choose to run their back end before the chef drives out great employees. The servers were a delight however. The true backbone of the restaurant.

Impeccable service, top notch style, and unmatched food and cocktails in this area. Honestly I can't say enough good things about this place. I've gone 3 times and my excitement only grows each time. If you're up for a fantastic meal in a really coolspot with great tunes and awesome staff members, look no further than Sovereign! First time we have tried this restaurant. From beginning to end, this place was amazing. The cider braised pork shank was the best pork I have EVER had! Fall off the bone, moist and delicious. Best meal I have had in years. I highly recommend this mealand restaurant. Do not miss out on this local gem.

Vegan enchiladas were amazing! I love when restaurants put thought into vegan dishes because usually they are a hit. Maybe they will offer more options in the future.

Service great food and drinks great. The roasted Brussels sprouts are amazing. The not your butchers enchiladas are great. The grilled watermelon salad so good.

I had the vegan enchiladas and they were excellent! had not many vegan options, but what they have is great! server was very knowledgeable and helpful.
