Having previously visited Sozo during our time in Dublin, we decided to make a stop there while driving from Los Angeles to Napa. My husband and I were thrilled to discover that the food still maintained its excellent quality from before the pandemic, and the service remained outstanding. We enjoyed the bento with BBQ beef and crispy tempura, as well as their Korean-style chirashi bop, which is undoubtedly the best I’ve ever tasted.
I visited this restaurant with my daughter for a special mommy-and-daughter date, and she absolutely loved the food, repeatedly telling me how delicious it was while we ate. The sushi was fresh and tasty, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was very family-friendly, clean, and bright. The service was exceptional! I will definitely be returning with my whole family.
I really enjoyed this restaurant! The sushi was reasonably priced and tasted as amazing as it looked. Although the sake menu was limited, it was very affordable. We also tried the gyoza, which was crispy and satisfying. The service was excellent too. I will definitely be returning! Pictured are the White Dragon roll, Sozo roll, and Disco roll.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food given the prices. It's noticeably more affordable than some of my favorite sushi places in San Ramon. I sampled five different rolls and some tuna nigiri, all of which were definitely worth a return visit. I'll definitely be exploring more of their extensive sushi roll menu in the future. Sozo sushi will always hold a very special place in my heart since it was the first sushi place I went to EVER back in highschool 20+ yrs ago. First time I have had the avocado, tuna and mango combo too! Which I crave and always get when I visit back home.
Sweet staff, average sushi and average restaurant environment. We just happen to be in the area we were pretty desperate in finding a sushi place on our way home home, this was the highest rated one near by. Portions and pricing was pretty fair.Food: 3/5
Best sushi in the Livermore/Pleasanton/Dublin area. Their udon noodles' broth is tasty. The caterpillar rolls are tasty and big. Dragon roll and disco rolls are our favorites also. Just tried fried octopus legs last night and they are crispy and tasty.
Great quality fish and good service. There is usually seating during lunch. Dinner time is usually busy. Must try their sashimi. Réservez une table maintenant
