Spa Marin du Val André Thalasso Resort

First of all, the restaurant does not accept reservations for a table with sea view (near glass bay). So you better get here early to choose your table. Then an aperitif was forgotten. staff a little lost when several guests have to choose their menu. the hotel master is very welcoming and smiling, which is not the case for all servers. fortunately that he is there to remove the coldness image of this restaurant that in addition, has a very impersonal decoration (trist, terne, purified, almost spartate). I understand they must be professional in this type of establishment but they could be with a slight smile. with respect to my menu at 40 €, foie gras = I did not feel the taste (by the way, I did not finish my plate, really surprised by the preparation, perhaps a little too sought after and it is not a success) ; lotte = delicious, really exquisite; pastry: good without more. We were 7 people, and on that number, we must admit that 2 are satisfied. 2 out of 7 the score is not famous. It's been twice that we've been testing this restaurant (once we open, and this year), it's over for us.

two menus, one of which changes every day more excellent dishes on the menu. It's simple, but everything's fresh! and well executed! the service is of extreme kindness. If the presence of shy interns from the hotel school can leave some approximations, the will to do well and satisfy is there! Bravoles prices are reasonable for the quality rendered and the magnificent view, in the large glass room, on the beach of val André.Beautiful address to discover even if you reside outside the hotel.Petit nice bar where to take a quiet drink in the lobby near the reception.

the restaurant room of the marine spa is very clean. the view of the bay of Saint Brieuc is splendid. The reception is perfect. Room service is a little fast. We had ordered in the fat liver entrance and we were unpleasantly surprised by its texture.(The presentation was, however, very worked) the resistance dish and dessert were good. Congratulations to the sommelier for the choice of his wines.

We spent one night at the spa and are staying at lunch in the evening ... nothing to tell of the inlet (salmon and spider roll) perfect combination of the lotte cheek in are juice succulent (maybe a pt can of colors but the aromas are there and the ganity of strawberries to finish with a tasty lightness bravo.For a menu at 40€ with that fresh still hat thank you. . .
