Amazing Napoli style pizza in a rather random location, even better than the ones I have had in downtown area! The staff was friendly, the vibe was great full of energy. All dishes are reasonably priced with a huge portion, and the quality of the pizza gnocchi were top-notch. The pizza dough was soooo chewy, which I have been search for years in Vancouver! Also, its hard to find Peroni on tap, and they do! No reservations are taken, only walk-ins, and I was in a group of 8, and they charge automatic gratituity of 20% for larger groups like mine. Strongly recommended!
Excellent, authentic Napoletana pizzas, desserts. Tip: Consider eating the pizzas hotter than when it turns cold. It’s more juicer, succulent just melts! Incredible. We tried the following: Siciliana Cafonata Caprese Croquettes penne Desserts: Chantilly crisp Cocktails: godfather cosmo Negroni Moscow mule I can second that their pizzas are authentic use excellent ingredients taste incredible, that’s because one of my Italian PHD friend in Florida, had made them for us, and it definitely reminded me of it. Cocktails could’ve had more finesse, balance presentation.
My friend brought me here for dinner and I was not disappointed. He is from Italy and said that the pizza here is as close to authentic as he has found since living in the Vancouver area. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were on point and the service was great. We also got some truffle fries to share and I was so impressed. Normally, at other restaurants, the truffle fries are usually soft or soften quickly after they are served but these stayed crispy and were fresh hot upon serving.
Just loved that Italian restaurant in Port Moody. We were looking for something like that for quite a long time a place with some good Italian food. We ordered pasta (day special), pizza (day special), sorbet, cappuccino and frittelle. The only minor disappointment was that pizza's central part wasn't as warm as the edges, but everything was delicious. Compliments to the staff who were eager to help. Will definitely come again. Pizzas are cooked on fire and this gives an unforgettable taste to the dough. They took 3 different flavors very balanced and familiar pecante and double smoked. But la terrazza has a very unusual combination of eggplant, basil, roasted almonds. It's worth a try for new taste sensations. The place must be booked in advance.
I love pizza and this resto is among BC’s best. Their pizzas are one of a kind and truly a taste of Italy. Their pastas and desserts were great too plus service was superb. Place was about the right size and great for friends and family. Port Moody’s hidden gem. We will surely be back.
The pizza crust was absolutely fantastic, both the pizzas were fresh and delicious. Not heavy or greasy at all after the pizzas you normally tend to get at other places. Definitely recommend the dessert as well! Overall it was a great meal. Réservez une table maintenant
