With views across lake Lugano, the restaurant was very well situated, the service was great, nice and friendly, the English speaking waiting staff were easy going and helpful, the menu was easily understandable, and the prices were very reasonable for the area, the meals were large, and the sides and starters delicious. The restaurant became busy around 13.30 so go early.
Food is expensive in Switzerland, typically 20 sf pastas, 30 fish and 40 meat dishes. This is a poplular retaurnt ont he pedenstrainstreet, slightly less expensive than others, with very good pasta and salads, inexpensive house wines, beers, and efficient wait service. Make arez as it gets buy after 700pm.
The spaghetti store had many good looking pasta dishes on the menu, and has a fantastic location right on Lake Lugano! While not the best meal i've ever eaten, the food was good and the shade was much appreciated on a hot day. The staff was friendly and professional, and the beer was cold!
This is a very solid place for dinner - pizza and pasta. Not fancy and priced at the lower end compared to the other lakefront restaurants. The service was very good. The pizza was well prepared and more than two people could eat. Caesar salad was excellent. We would definitely go again. Réservez une table maintenant
