Spezialitaeten-Restaurant Royal

Vor unserem Aufenthalt in Gera bekamen wir den Tip, mal dieses Restaurant zu besuchen, wenn wir mal Gourmet geniessen wollen.Nun, wir bummelten durch die Straße "Sorge" gegen Abend, alles sah schon sehr ruhig aus, und wir machten uns ein wenig Sorge um unsere Mägen, die leer waren.Die Adresse "Sorge 19 " sah von außen nach allem aus, nur nicht nach einem Gourmet Restaurant, eher nach Blumengeschäft, Trödelladen oder verspieltes Kaffe. Beim Blick durch die Scheibe konnte man nicht viel außer Dunkelheit erkennen. Etwas verzagt drückte ich auf die Türklinke schon in Erwartung, daß der Laden geschlossen sei.Aber in dem Moment wurde die Tür auch schon von innen geöffnet und ein netter Herr machte...

7. In June 2020 we came to Gera on our bike tour, were looking for a good restaurant and found at the Royal Restaurant. The house with the address Sorge 19 initially proposes a flower shop instead of a special restaurant. The door was closed, but we ran a bell. Then the owner – Mr. King – opens and tells us that he has a closed company today and cannot accommodate any other guests. That's bad luck! What can he recommend to us as an alternative? This is very difficult due to the different tastes and requirements. And that's why he doesn't like it! We were ratless. When passing, we discovered the chic little restaurant on care through the beautiful handwritten menu. The next dinner was very nice. The small guest room is lovingly and comfortably furnished, the food is freshly prepared and beautifully decorated. The owner/Kook is very nice, helpful and always for a chat. We had a wonderful evening and we're back in any case.

We thank Mr. King very much. We spent a wonderful evening with friends in a wonderful ambience at kerzenschein. The food he is personally prepared is excellent, his anecdotes that he gives for the best are delicious. For celebrations with several people, the restaurant is closed so that you can be among yourself. Where is he? Andrea Niendorf family
