This is more of a food stand than a restaurant. The Indian food is reasonably good, but obviously can't be compared to eating at an Indian restaurant. In my experience, Switzerland has been attracting large numbers of Indian tourists; large numbers were also at Rheinfall. I think this is the main reason Spice Bistro is located here. In fact, most of the people I saw eating here were Indians.
We came here at the strong recommendation of our local tour guide, and it was well worth it. The samosas and masala chai are delicious, and the staff was friendly, especially for the kind of place (basically a kiosk with amazing food) that it is. Perfect for a quick bite. Do not understand at all why others have reviewed so poorly. Maybe they have upgraded their fare and staff?
Rude, thank less manager/cashier who really doesn't want to be doing this job. Indians buying food there are treated as if he's doing massive favour by selling samosa at 9 francs, 1/2 cup Chai for 4 francs, pav bhaji at 12 francs. We found nice restaurant just where the boats leave with very friendly staff, reasonable price, and fresh hot/cold food.
Excellent cuisine! Good chips, excellent fish and chips too! The vegan samosas are also good. But I absolutely loved the Marsala chicken rice. If you like spicy and strong flavours, I recommend you get the rice with chicken! After all, the place is wonderful because there are waterfalls Réservez une table maintenant
These were the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Such an unexpected surprise. The people here were also really nice. I will come back the next time we’re in Switzerland as I still dream of this food.
Can get 100% Halal Vegan Food when you visit Rheinfall India themed food, so you will expect full of spices. Also, they're delicious and flavorful. Totally need to try Chai Masala.
Over priced, unfriendly, poor presentation and no style!! Disappointing!! ...... 4.50 for a tea 9.-Sfr for French fries. I really thought I am in the wrong movie..
