First visit yesterday, but it won't be our last! We booked on the recommendation of a local person and were not disappointed. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, the food was perfect. One of our party couldn't decide what to have, the waiter asked for her likes and dislikes, went away and came back with a curry made just for her, which she said was one of the best she'd ever had. We were in quite early, so it was fairly quiet, although filling up by the time we left. The takeaway bags were going out in a steady stream, so the kitchen was busy despite a quiet restaurant, however the service was quick without being rushed. The food was fresh and delicious. Picked up a takeaway from here tonight for five of us, a mix of different Currys from mild, to rip your insides out with heat. The food was absolutely fantastic, I've had Currys from all over the UK but this place was outstanding. And even after the 8 mile trip back to accommodation the food was hot, fresh and everyone commented on how good the food was. I highly recommend this curry house and will be going back again,
I can't speak highly enough about the food at Spice UK. It puts most curry houses around the UK to shame. Whenever I'm home, I always make a point of visiting because it's just that good. A real gem in Welshpool and worth the trip. The decor is very dated though and in need of a spruce up.
