calm down, professional and on point employees. the manager with the trendy bart even helped me park my car from the possible storm into the maintenance garage! super friendly and something I like the ultimate 1 he.Breakfast has 6-7 amazing options and because we stayed a Monday and Tuesday we chose the bbq to house option. we expected iga Bbq pack, but their chefs use all their secret sauces and marinades and salads and we just follow their little instructions that were super simple and we had the most beautiful dinner just we. camein, good wee and cheese from the local places we visited this day. the private access to the waterfall is a 3 minute walk and so much easier than the parking lot...
I really don’t think this should be classed as a 5 star establishment. The amount of money you pay for a run down room is so disappointing. The styling is also super dated, the bathroom is really old and to be honest is a place that should charge 100 -150 an night and not 800. There is a difference between rustic and dated. Towels are old/overused and no attention to detail. Lots of scratches in the bathroom the whole thing needs a major update.Also very little is included you pay for EVERYTHING , chips, soap, dinner. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were nice (with one staff giving us a complimentary bottle to celebrate our engagement) . But otherwise we do wish we went somewhere else...
the food was devine beautifully presented, good meals and stunning products. the personal was beautiful and attentive. the restaurant table needs attention, I felt uncomfortable as its very open and everyone stares when the door opens, so that we felt like a brain in the lights. the tables are so close together with nothing to break the close or the noise. our table was so close to the next table that we felt as if we could also dinate with our neighbours, we also felt that we had to whisper to not share our conversation with others. only felt a little open and uncomfortable, maybe some music to break the silence would help, and a kind of partitions or plants or a bit more of a gap between t...
loved our 2 nights/3 day stay in the forest view villa. the accommodation was just like the promised photos: fresh, clean, spacious. heated floor towel rails in the bathroom! fireplace ready to go. complementary champagne in the future modern tvs nespresso machine, accessed simple instructions by scanning the digital compendium. the meals were super and generous portions. possibility to dine in tamarind restaurant or delivered to its villa. beautiful restaurant with indoor or outdoor seating. beautiful forest hike. cocktails at the fireplace. friendly, professional staff. simple check-in by following the link in their welcome farewell emails.

Salmon dish snap crackle and pop... mouth alive...a dash off salt, crunch, sweet kimcy, bursting with yum. Ty, amazing wine knowledge, has tried all the dishes, brilliant service. Caffir lime froth, coconut sorbet and rum jelly and you can taste the rum...mmm... left wanting more.. Omg the deconstructed chocolate torte is packed with bang and surprise... I wanna chew my lips off it tastes so good.
I highly recommend Spicers Tamarind Retreat! Personally, I stayed with Mum for a milestone birthday which was fantastic but I wouldn't hesitate to visit again with my partner. All of the staff front office, housekeeping, spa and food and beverage were warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Truly one of the best getaways I've had!
The staff were absolutely amazing, everything was first class and nothing was ever an issue. Hats off especially to Aeden, Colin and Paul from who made everything so seamless. There were so many other staff whose names we did not get that were also brilliant. We can't wait to get back and enjoy another stay.
We just share our wedding day at this beautiful venue. They go above and beyond expectations, they greet you and show such professionalism and respect. They take the time to know their guest and why they are there. Thankyou to the staff for making our day feel like it was just us there. Means the world
