As so many of our peers we love a board game night and coming to Berlin we were recommended to visit Spielweise in Kopernikus Strasse. We heard it was some kind of café / board game store where you could try a game while having a cup of coffee, and it was…. but it is so much more than that.During our 3 hours there we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The atmosphere in the café and ludothek is welcoming and cosy, the staff knows their games and service was genuinely friendly. We felt like we knew the owner and was personally welcomed. After hours of walking in the big busy city of Berlin it was precious to have a seat, enjoy some games and relax.As our pictures show they have plenty of games. Some German, some English – many of them not language dependent. This is a place you go to relax, be with friends and have a coffee or a drink. Do go there and experience this pearl. It’s 3 euro pr person gaming and you can play as many games as you’d like for as long as you’d prefer.
