Last minute, due to a cancellation, we were able to get a table at Spitzner. I was a loverly fine dining dinner and excellent service, overall a nice surprice and above expectations from a price/quality perspective. We had the 7 course dinner and some individual exellent wine. The tastes in the plates are well ballances, most of them creative and rich but not too complex , not over the top. All was very well prepared, natual tasty and nothing over cooked. This restaurant devers certainly 1 Michelin start to our openion, although there were about 2-3 details where some improvements could be done. My wife and I had the pleasure of being delighted by chef Nikolas and Kristin during our recent visit to Muenster. Our gracious friend and host, Martin, made sure every detail was perfect including an amazing Jacquart Cuvee Alpha Champagne. The attention to detail was outstanding as were the wine pairings and heavenly desserts. This is a top notch restaurant hosted by top notch and approachable people. They will make you feel welcomed and cared for as you dance through this magical ballet of food! :
We expected a nice restaurant and we had more than that: a very good gastronomic place with a cleverly balanced carte, nice products and carefully designed presentations. Excellent service. Nice suggestions of wine, good breads. relatively reasonable pricing. All this in the center of town. Very recommended.
