Die Sportsbar betreibt neben der Gastronomie auch einen Hotelbetrieb im hinteren Gebäude. Da wir in der Bar lediglich gefrühstückt haben, bezieht sich meine Bewertung auf den Hotelbetrieb. Das Hotel macht von außen einen ordentlichen Eindruck und ist super gelegen. Ein Supermarkt (Netto Markendiskount), eine Tankstelle sowie diverse Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Altstadt sowie die Externsteine erreicht man fußläufig in ca. 10 Minuten. Die Parkplätze vor der Bar können von den Übernachtungsgästen genutzt werden. Das Treppenhaus ist sehr rustikal und in dunkler Holz Optik gehalten. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Es verfügte über ein recht großes Doppelbett, wobei es sic...
Wir haben 3 Nächte im Hotel der Sportsbar übernachtet und haben uns dort sehr herzlich aufgenommen gefühlt. Das Zimmer war hell und sauber, gewöhnungsbedürftig war lediglich das waschen am winzigen Waschbecken. Das reich-und vielseitige Frühstück ließ keinen Wunsch offen, und die Chefin samt Personal waren super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden sogar spontan vom Bahnhof abgeholt und bei der Abreise wieder hin gefahren!Optimal ist auch die Lage: 20 Fußminuten zu den Externsteinen und 10 Fußminuten in den Ortskern.Wer eine preiswerte, familiere Pension als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen sucht, ist hier auf jeden Fall richtig!
We stayed in the Sportsbar hotel during a hiking trip in the area. Our room was clean and spacious and included a conservatory. The bathroom featured a shower and a bathtub, the latter being a very welcome surprise after a day of hiking. We decided...to have dinner in the Sportsbar itself and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We had a Gyros Teller and a Currywurst. Both were very tasty and very reasonaby priced. To round off our pleasant experience, the breakfast next morning was again tasty and plentiful and featured freshly cooked scrambled eggs and bacon.

Auf Empfehlung unseres Hotels kamen wir in den Matchpoint um uns das WM-Spiel Deutschlad-Portugal an zu sehen ... wurden sofort sehr herzlich aufgenommen und führten interessante Gespräche mit den Stammgästen...Der Wirt gab zu jedem Tor für Deutschland eine Lokalrunde ~sauren~ :-)Zum Abschluß probierten wir noch die Küche aus und waren sofort so begeistert von dem Essen das wir wußten :_Morgen erscheinen WIR wieder !!!SEHR ZU EMPFEHLEN ALS BIKER-STOP !!! Zentrale Lage mit ausreichender Parkfläche , absolut moderaten Preisen und lecker-Garantie !!!

Einfach super der Laden! Ob essen oder trinken einfach klasse! Und für Sport Fans auch alles dabei ob Fußball gucken! Oder dart spielen alles was das Herz begehrt! Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!!
Die Speisekarte ist zwar klein und übersichtlich. Das Essen ist frisch zubereitet und sehr schmackhaft. Das Alles zu einem sehr moderaten Preis.
