I gotta say I've been ordering from here for years and I've always loved the food BUT today I made an order in store and while I was waiting I got to observe the young kid pizza maker, making the pizzas and other orders and sadly what I saw really disturbed me. I literally observed this young man doing all the orders BARE HANDED. after finishing one order he literally wiped his bare hands on his shorts then proceeded to grab new order tickets, open drawers and food storage areas grab raw dough to prepare new orders and all while bare handed.. never saw him wash his hands or wear gloves. I had a very disappointing experience with Sportsmen's Pizza tonight. I ordered a large pepperoni and cheese deep dish pizza, but I received a large round pepperoni and cheese pizza instead. When I called to inform them of their mistake, they insisted that I bring the incorrect pizza back in order to exchange it for the right one, even though they were just 5 minutes away from my location. I found this request to be disgusting and rude, especially since I had the pizza delivered for convenience. The staff and manager were also very rude. I simply wanted either the correct order or a refund for what I paid.
One of the best pizza places Downriver by far, we've been coming here frequently since we moved not too far from Sportsmans a few years ago. Their cheese bread is great too we like to ask for it with light sauce though. One of the ways my wife and I judge pizza places is by the quality of their Jalapeno topping for the pizza. Lots of places use those pickled jalapenos which we just don't enjoy as much as fresh. Sportsmans always has fresh jalapenos which we always appreciate and enjoy.
The delivery driver demanded a tip while handing me my change, which was rude and unexpected. I called the restaurant eight times but nobody answered the phone. Waiting almost two hours for my order when I was originally told it would only take 45 minutes was frustrating. To make matters worse, my pizza and breadsticks arrived cold.

There pizza amazing. I love there cheese bread and the workers here are kind you can aways see them working are on there food. This is my new favorite pizza place. My pizza's are always fresh and I never worry about them messing up my order.
Best sub and pepperoni rolls really good chicken tenders, but the pizza not!!, way too thick and doughy there was almost no sauce Little Caesars is better
Great deluxe pizza with extra cheese. Keep up the great food! Topping even on the crust and crust was crispy. Really great! Thank you!
Love sportsmans. Their square pizza is one of my local faves and they has solid breadsticks. Also recommend the New York white!

Without a doubt the best pizza Downriver. The sauce is delicious and it’s always cooked to perfection.
