Four of us on motorcycles enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and lunch at Spuds Café today. Our server, Sage, was absolutely delightful and very attentive, frequently refilling our water and coffee. The food was simply magnificent—those burgers were the best we’ve had in quite a while, and the farmer's breakfast was fantastic, complete with homemade hash browns. We highly recommend this place!
How can they receive a rating when they’re hardly ever open? We spent the weekend in Chester, and both on Friday and Saturday, they closed more than an hour earlier than their advertised hours. There was no sign or explanation—just closed. Why bother posting hours if you don’t stick to them? It’s incredibly frustrating! At this point, I wouldn’t consider eating there for any reason.
We had lunch at Spuds Cafe in Chester, Montana, a town with a population of 837. The food was outstanding—definitely the best patty melt I've ever tasted. The service was friendly and quick. It's a charming little diner where everyone seemed to know one another. You can't help but appreciate the charm of small towns tucked away from the usual routes.
My favorite thing about having a job I travel around to the little communities of Montana is getting to eat at little local spots like Spuds! This place is amazing and if you are ever traveling through I highly recommend you stop and eat! Best burger I’ve had in some time! Réservez une table maintenant
We are traveling home to NC. We were tired and hungry and it's rained all day. Looking online and after reading the reviews I said let's go! Great people, super food. No complaints. Stop in. The will not disappoint
This place is great! Amazing food! The service was phenomenal! We were just passing through and arrived thirty minutes before opening, she let us in anyway and got us our food fast!
The burgers, Indian Tacos, and root beer floats are great! I ordered the Reuben, but unfortunately, they ran out of rye bread. It was quite busy during lunch.
