I was visiting the area recently and discovered Squires. Never one for chain restaurants, I regularly seek out local places to eat. They usually provide a much better experience than corporate run restaurants, and Squires was as good as I had hoped. I had the turkey tips, which were fantastic. They came with rice and veggies, which went perfectly with the turkey. My friend got the fall salad with grilled chicken, and she loved it. I had a taste and loved the grilled chicken great flavor. The service was excellent our server was friendly and very attentive. We couldn't have asked for better. I'll definitely go back to Squires the next time I'm in the area.
For lunch today, I enjoyed a bowl of authentic New England clam chowder, followed by two lobster rolls and two baked hot dog rolls stuffed with lobster meat (not langostine!), topped with just a touch of mayonnaise and served with sweet potato fries — all for just $11. Most sandwich specials for lunch are under $6, and the service is friendly and genuine.
Don't be deceived by the exterior of Squires. The food is excellent and the waiting staff are very friendly. I highly recommend the steak tips or the daily dinner special. The portions are quite generous. Inquiries are often referred to as "local spots."
Both my wife had the twin Lobster Roll. The French Fries were really really good. Our Lobsters were filled with tender lobster meat and no wasted filler. Our server was friendly and cheery. Fast service...highly recommend.

It feels like a movie bar in a square in the USA. The ambiance is lovely, and it's a great spot to eat and savor local cuisine. Beautiful people and a delightful atmosphere combine for an enjoyable experience.
Our family loves squires great menu selection and prices are good too. The servings of the meals are also plentiful and always have leftovers! The staff is very attentive to their customers.
Food was excellent 2 out of 2 times. The menu is extensive and affordable. We had the Pot Roast, Shepherds pie, twin lobster roll special and a barbecue burger. Recommend all.
Great neighborhood gathering spot. Just had two for $15.95 lobster rolls. Nicely filled. grilled, rolls with crispy fries and delicious, fresh coleslaw. Loved it.
