I had a chopped sirloin steak with onions and gravy, with sides of a baked potato and pickled beets. The meal was extremely bland, as though the cook just slapped the meat on the griddle and whipped an instant gravy mix to coat it. The onions should have been fresh and properly caramelized.The floor likely had not been swept or vacuumed for at least a day. This used to be one of my go-to spots for wings, but I've been disappointed lately. In recent months, I've mostly received small, broken pieces. Additionally, the gravy is always poured over the hot wings, which ends up spilling during the ride home. I’ll give it another shot to support a local business, and I hope for a better experience next time.
I've been dining at this restaurant for over 25 years, and the food is consistently good. The prices are reasonable for the quality you receive, and the service is quick. We were attended to by a cheerful and attentive waitress.
This is an excellent place to get some food. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Highly recommended!
